THE Yorkshire Air Museum is waiting to hear the results of its bid to get Concorde after British Airways chiefs met to decide on a location.
The British Airways sub-committee met yesterday to put their recommendations to the board.
The board is now to make a formal decision which will be announced in the near future.
Representatives from the museum, at Elvington, travelled to Heathrow earlier this month to present their plans for the supersonic airliner.
Operations manager at the museum, Ian Dewar, said that he did not know when British Airways would be contacting the museum. "We made the presentation and now it is up to the powers that be. They will let us know in due course."
