CHILDREN at a York school have been putting their ideas forward for a new school building.
Youngsters in the specific learning difficulties centre at St Oswald's School have been creating plans ahead of the opening of the unit.
The school will be rebuilt under a private finance initiative scheme and planning permission was recently granted.
The children have come up with a number of ideas including an inflatable activity unit, a social area and audio bays.
Head of the provision, June Coates, said: "What we are trying to do is to get their thoughts about what they want in the classroom."
