Malton-based firm J M Packaging Ltd have been confirmed as the new sponsors of York City's youth team and centre of excellence.
The company, who supply packaging to all the UK multiple grocers, is owned by City commercial director Jason McGill.
As part of the rescue package to save City, McGill purchased the club's house on Grosvenor Terrace where the youth players live with youth coach Brian Neaves and his wife, Jenny.
McGill said: "I am really pleased to be sponsoring the youth team and centre of excellence. Youth development is key to the club's future and is something that is close to my heart."
