A colourful labyrinth of primary colours and natural light is being explored by creative youngsters at the Museum Gardens in York.
Dozens of people old and young are exploring a series of brightly-lit chambers at the Colourscape Festival, where musicians are also performing to create a dazzling experience of colour and sound. On Saturday, pupils from some York primary schools gave a performance named The Elements for guests, including the Lord Mayor of York, Coun Chas Hall, which was based on images of earth, fire, air and water.
The Colourscape display is open between noon and 5pm everyday until Sunday. Entrance is £3 for adults and free for children.
There are workshop sessions between noon and 1pm and 4pm and 5pm, Monday to Friday, exploring the emotional effects of colour and light. To book phone 01904 553440.
