Sheriff Hutton Bridge, the division one leaders missed injured bowler Mike Smith and lacked lustre as bottom-placed Stamford Bridge took maximum batting points.
Sheriff Hutton Bridge's bowling and fielding was below par, possibly with their players' priorities laying with their National Village Trophy quarter-final on Sunday, August 3, at their Moor Farm ground.
Stamford Bridge's overseas man Stuart Boyle led his side's batting with 75 and then Matt Beckett took over with 70 as their side made 203-6.
Bridge skipper Paul Oldfield took 5-56 in 19 overs and then held his side's batting together with a patient 67 as opener. Paul Scaling again showed his ability to hit the ball out of the ground before being caught for 41. Dave Gilbertson made 25 to help the leaders to a four-wicket victory with three overs to spare.
Crayke were bowled out for 83 by Pocklington's Mike Newhouse (5-13) and Kevin Hinch (3-28). Rod Hinch (47no) and Ian Camwell (28no) then combined to ease their side's relegation fears with a nine-wicket win.
The result of the game between Driffield and York has not been received.
