A TEENAGER from Holme-on-Spalding Moor has gained a scholarship to the prestigious Northern Ballet School, based in Manchester.
Jennifer Pullon, 16, has attended Selby Dance Centre for the last five years, during which time she also won a place with the Northern Ballet Theatre Company, in Leeds.
Jennifer attended four classes a week at Selby Dance Centre, where she trained in ballet, tap, modern and singing.
She has also just gained the British Ballet Organisation's Advanced One certificate.
Selby Dance Centre principal Janice Hargreaves said: "Jennifer is our first pupil to gain a place at the Northern Ballet School and we are very proud of her. She is totally dedicated to her training and has the talent to get to the top."
