Ray McInally shot a fantastic 87-bull finish for 15 darts in York John Smith's Men's League division one.
He was well supported by Mark Gale as Poacher swept aside Holgate, whose Mick Brookes won the opening leg, 8-1.
Mick Willsden (120 finish for 18) and Kev Walton starred as Shepherd beat Green Tree 'B' 6-3, who had maximums from Paul Wilson, Rich Beddows and Steve Snowden.
Chris Thompson (18) and Tony Cooper (19) shone for Sun 'A' as they defeated Cueball 6-3, while a wide margin win by Barry Noble (19) gave Dringhouses the aggregate point against Bay Horse, who recorded a 6-3 victory.
Andy King (17) and match-winners King-Kev Graham secured Saddle's first three-pointer with a 5-4 win over Rose & Crown, while Cygnet 'A' moved into third after Jack White-Pete Holland gave them a 6-3 scoreline at Blacksmith's, who saw Glen Waterworth (bull finish) and Lee Mason (180) do well.
In division two, an excellent 133 check for 18 by Phil Smith earned Slip 'B' the extra point at Tree 'A', while Ian Hartley and Gary Kennelly led Cygnet 'B' to a 6-3 win over Institute 'A'. However, a 90 finish from Ken Moment did enough to gain the aggregate.
Groves' Dave Atkin hit an 88 finish for 18, but Institute 'B' won 5-4 with Phil Taylor including a maximum.
Craig Wedge (21) led Osbaldwick to a 6-3 win over Sun 'B' and Swan won their derby with Old Ebor 5-4, Adrian Shaw giving the best resistance.
