SELBY Tiger Sharks swimming club enjoyed a golden performance in the final meet of the Yorkshire Graded GP series at the Leeds International Pool.
It was the club's 2002 swimmer of the year, Leanne Adamson, who earned the top plaudits as the 14-year-old beat her best time to take gold in the 200m individual medley. A bronze in the 200m freestyle and fourth places in the 200m backstroke and 200m breaststroke lifted Adamson to second place in the final GP rankings.
Olivia Telfer, ten, seized gold in the 50m freestyle with a personal best. In an earlier heat, 11-year-old Rhiannon Davies carved more than 3.5 seconds off her entry time.
Ten-year-old Andrew Taylor, had another eventful meet, picking up a speeding ticket in the 50m freestyle, while in the 50m breaststroke he won his first-ever gold medal.
Thomas Green, 12, posted a personal best performance to earn himself a speeding ticket in the 50m freestyle.
Andrew Donnelly, 12, lowered his personal bests in the 50m freestyle, 50m breaststroke and 50m backstroke, while younger sister, Emma, ten, set her personal best in the 50m backstroke.
