Residents in York who have fallen foul of garden furniture thieves may be able to reclaim their property at Fulford Police Station tomorrow.
Officers have seized a haul of furniture and ornaments after a raid at an address in Foxwood. More than 20 shed and garden thefts have been reported in the Acomb and Woodthorpe areas over the past three weeks. Items recovered include a bench, wooden wheelbarrow, various pots and planters full of flowers and ornaments such as an angel, a gnome and a stone teddy bear. Residents can look at the items between 5pm and 7pm tomorrow at the Fulford Road station. Alternatively phone PC Amanda Walker on 01904 631321.
