BOOTHAM Crescent was braced for a mammoth turn-out for York City's friendly against Leeds United tonight, kick-off 7.45pm.
Club sources believe that around 7,000-8,000 could descend on the club after Leeds named an international-packed 21-man squad for the clash.
The club's main stand has already sold out with a 'pay on the gate' policy for the rest of the ground.
City chief executive Keith Usher has advised supporters to arrive at the ground well becfore the kick-off to help prevent long queues forming at the turnstiles.
