THIS is the dramatic result of a two-vehicle accident in Copmanthorpe, York, today.
A white Renault Clio rests on its roof approximately 30m from a crossroads junction where it and a black Range Rover had collided.
The Clio driver, a woman in her 20s from the Humberside area, managed to crawl out of the vehicle following the crash at 10.15am, and was taken by ambulance to York Hospital suffering from a minor arm injury.
The other driver, a middle-aged man from Cumbria, was uninjured and his vehicle suffered only minor damage.
PC Jim Noble said the car was travelling along Hallcroft Lane towards the Colton Road and was crossing the main road, Manor Heath, when it was clipped slightly by the Range Rover, which was travelling along Manor Heath. He said: "The car's been clipped, it's lost control, the wheels have dug in and it's flipped over.
"An investigation is now taking place."
