SCHOOLBOY squash starlet Graham Marr is celebrating that 'just champion' feeling.
The Sherburn High School pupil lifted the Under-15 Junior Champion of Champions title at the recent finals in Nottingham.
Marr, who was competing in the gold section of the graded national tournament, qualified for Nottingham after winning the regional event back in February.
He also won the 'hardest hit' competition at Nottingham, with a speed of 111mph.
A former South Milford Squash Club member, Marr, who now hones his skills with Pontefract Squash Club, has been playing squash since he was seven.
A sporting all-rounder, his title success has given the teenager added incentive to develop his court skills further.
It is hoped his recent success could eventually lead to representative honours.
Winning the Champion of Champions title guaranteed Marr a trophy and sponsorship by squash manufacturer Head.
But with more tournaments in the offing, the family are hoping a generous benefactor may be willing to help towards travel costs.
Anyone able to help can contact Marr's mum, Tracey, on 01977 682603.
