York College is hosting a summer school aimed at mature students wanting to return to education. The course runs from July 31 to August 6 with a week-long break, resuming again from August 14 to 20.
It is free and run in partnership with York Progression Partnership (YPP) and the Centre for Continuing Education. It also includes a free creche and out of school club facility and is funded
through the YPP and the Learning Development Unit at York College. It will include topics such as communication skills, studying, self marketing, dealing with individuals and selling.
