Mercedes-Benz of York is taking part in a nationwide pilot scheme being implemented by the manufacturer to gauge public opinion on showroom lay-out and design.
The York site - one of only four Mercedes-Benz outlets involved in the scheme - has created specific areas which focus on different business and leisure lifestyles together with the appropriate models. A market research programme, including interviewing customers on-site, is also being implemented.
Mark Tomlinson, general sales manager for Mercedes-Benz North Yorkshire, said: "I am delighted that we have been selected to take part in this important programme. Each of the four sites involved has installed a different lay-out and, once the results of the individual market research programmes have been analysed, the selected showroom lay-out will then be rolled out across all Mercedes-Benz dealerships."
