SCARBOROUGH boss Russ Slade has blasted his defenders after they slumped to a 3-1 pre-season defeat at Bridlington Town.
After seeing his side gift three goals - to add to the four conceded in the game at Selby in midweek - Slade said: "From what I have seen so far I haven't got a decent goalkeeper or defender at the club and we conceded yet more sloppy goals.
"At least I know where my problem areas are now, but anyone who has seen us in these two games will know that as well."
Boro created just one chance in the game, Karl Rose converting a Jack Williams cross from close range to cancel out a Martin Thacker penalty conceded when Steve Baker handled under pressure.
Williams, on trial from Birmingham City was the pick of the Boro players with Keith Gilroy showing some good touches.
Bridlington regained the lead when Danny Drayton was left unmarked to head home and Boro's woe continued when goalkeeper Leigh Walker headed the ball straight to Matty Edeson who promptly chipped home from 40 yards to wrap up a good win for Brid.
