RESIDENTS and traders affected by serious flooding in Pickering were expected to inspect new flood defence plans at a consultation meeting this afternoon.
Environment Agency staff were due to be on hand to discuss options for a proposed scheme for townspeople in Pickering. The consultation was taking place at the town's Memorial Hall, from 2.30pm to 8pm.
