A BUSY year at Archbishop Holgate's School, York, was reflected on by head teacher, John Harris, at the school's prize giving and speech day.
Mr Harris listed the school's achievements throughout the year, which saw the school grow bigger than at any time in its history and become one of the 24 science colleges in the country.
Mr Harris said: "It has been an excellent year, but we are determined not to be complacent.
"It is important that we continue to work hard to keep, at the heart of what we do, those features that make Archbishop's a special place to be a part of." Mr Harris thanked pupils, parents, staff and governors for their hard work and said the school would look to the future with confidence.
