A driver was seriously injured after his car crashed into a tree near Bridlington.
The man was taken to Scarborough Hospital with multiple critical injuries after the accident, which happened on the A165.
Roads were closed and drivers urged to avoid the area. Any witnesses to the incident are asked to contact police on 01262 402700.
