Watch out for Nadeszhda at Catterick tomorrow - that's my advice as Sir Mark Prescott takes the wraps off another of his three-year-olds.
The Newmarket trainer has no peer when it comes to placing horses and, although Nadeszhda is hardly potential star material, the filly merits serious consideration in the 5th Regiment Royal Artillery Handicap.
A daughter of Nashwan, Nadeszhda showed little form in three maiden outings last season but, now into modest handicap company for the first time and equipped with a lowly rating, she could well strike on her belated reappearance.
The evergreen George Duffield, riding at the top of his form at the age of 56, takes the mount on Nadeszhda, who is awarded my Nap vote.
Kim Tinkler, narrowly beaten at York on Friday on Henry Hall, came out on top in another photo-finish aboard Crispey Brook at Haydock on Sunday.
The successful female jockey will be hoping for another victory on Mystery Pips in the Sanna's Post Handicap over five furlongs.
A winner over the same distance at Musselburgh a couple of weeks ago, Mystery Pips, then trained by Alan Senior, has since joined Kim's husband, Nigel Tinkler. Although no great shakes, the three-year-old maybe capable of landing this modest event off bottom-weight.
Kevin Darley, who has such a good record on this course, is unlikely to return home empty-handed tomorrow.
The Sheriff Hutton jockey can score on Socialise, who showed enough in two outings last season for William Haggas to suggest she can lift the Pallett Hill Maiden Stakes on her reappearance.
The progressive Think Tank (2.25) and the promising Raybaan (2.55) are two others to note.
Down at Lingfield, Amir Zaman deserves consideration in the ladbrokes.com Handicap.
Trained by John Jenkins, the five-year-old is a previous winner over this course and distance.
The Paul Kelleway Memorial Stakes, staged in remembrance of the former trainer and jockey, looks a good opportunity for Lago d'Orta to continue his successful campaign.
Already three-times a winner this season, Clive Cox's gelding looks set to add to his record here in the hands of Dane O'Neill.
