Leaders Tadcaster have opened up a three-point gap at the top of the IT Sports Mixed Tennis League with a win against promotion rivals Wheldrake led by top scorers Debbie Rutherford and Richard Middleton.
Three teams share second place with Wheldrake bouncing back to beat Wilberfoss and swap places on games difference. Wheldrake's Jenny and Don Grant just out-scored team-mates Angela Smith and Bryn Jones.
Bubwith are also in the hunt after a win at relegated Sheriff Hutton. Tollerton and Cliffe met in the second relegation battle with Cliffe winning out on the night.
York and Fulford have pulled away at the top of division two after York beat Civil Service and Fulford beat third-placed Stillington in a tight match in which the lead swapped hands after each round.
Jill Rounce and Paul Blackett led Bubwith to a win against Stillington and, although they then lost to Rowntree Park, they stay in with an outside chance of promotion, though they have both York and Fulford still to play.
Sue and Jamie Perkins ensured Castlegarth stayed in the division three promotion race with victory against Dunnington. They won 25 games after rivals York lost at Sherburn. Sherburn are still in with a promotion shout after winning against Tollerton.
Selby have taken over the lead in division four after their 63-45 triumph at Fulford, in which all three couples won 21 games.
Riccall are one point behind after their win at Strensall with Judith Bray and Mark Harrison prevailing in 30 games.
Wistow and Sutton-on-Derwent seem to have settled the promotion issue in division six after Sally Simpson and Dave Nowell led the latter to victory over Dunnington, with the two clubs to play each other in the final match to decide the title.
Relegation is between all the remaining teams with three points separating the six outfits.
Cawood moved out of the automatic relegation places with a win at Civil Service led by top scorers Shelagh Elcock and Chris Abbott.
Poppleton ensured a close finish to the season with a win at third-placed Fulford. Dee Robinson and John Major just out-scored Ros Wilson and Colin Robinson.
Castlegarth have taken a firm hold on the division seven title with two wins against Bishopthorpe and New Earswick.
Anthea Brogden and Pete Ziegler ensured Appleton Roebuck stayed in second place with a win against New Earswick to keep a four-point gap between themselves and third-placed York, who lost at Rowntree Park.
Breeda Gallagher and Charles Stuart were unbeaten for Park, while York then bounced back to win against relegation-doomed Strensall.
Unbeaten Next Generation seem to have the division 11 title sealed after completing the double over New Earswick.
Stamford Bridge helped their cause with a big win over promotion rivals Sutton-on-Derwent for whom Sally Cammidge and Keith Westmorland won 30 games.
Will all clubs ensure full names are written on scorecards, which should then be sent to the correct match secretary.
