A NORTH Yorkshire turf company has scored again after securing a contract to prepare the pitch at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff.
Lindum Turf, based at West Grange Farm, Thorganby, between York and Selby, will provide three playing surfaces over the next twelve months at the landmark Welsh stadium.
The first fixture will be the prestigious Community Shield match between Premiership winners Manchester United and FA Cup winners Arsenal on August 10. The turf grower will provide 10,000 square metres of turf on three occasions over the next year creating pitches for football games and the Six Nations rugby tournament.
