York judo ace Rob Thomas, who recently finished sixth in the World Masters event in Japan, returned to winning ways with a gold and a silver in the Goole Open.
Thomas won gold in the open category, losing his only bout of seven throughout the day when he was pipped in the final of the 100-kilogramme division to finish with a silver medal.
