McDonald's in York will reopen today after a £500,000 facelift which includes a new-style caf.
The York branch of the fast food chain in Blake Street will now have a modern look and relaxed atmosphere where coffee and cakes will be on offer.
Manager Steve Marritt said: "We have had a positive response from customers so far and are looking forward to seeing the finished result.
"We are looking forward to furthering our links with local community groups as well as developing new ones."
