Dunnington are set to face the best cricket team in Scotland tomorrow when they meet Forfarshire in the last 16 of the National Club Knockout.
The Scots are currently sixth in the Scottish National Cricket League Premier Division after being promoted last year as runners-up in division one.
Forfarshire's skipper Ryan Watson opens the batting for Scotland Saltires, and in May he hit the third-fastest one day century ever in his match-winning knock against Somerset in the National League.
The winners of the game will play either Kearsley from the Bolton League, or Sandiacre Town the Derbyshire Premier League Champions.
West Indian Cavaliers, who crushed Easingwold earlier in the competition, could await the Hunters the Estate Agent York and District Senior League leaders and champions in the semi-finals.
For Dunnington, a place in the last eight for the first time in their history is up for grabs tomorrow.
Dunnington will parade a strong batting line-up led by former West Indian Test player Collis King, Simon Kellett, the former Yorkshire player, ex-Thirsk strokemaker Dave Greenlay, Hamid Khan and Harwood Williams.
Dunnington: Kellett, Khan, Greenlay, King, Williams, Powell, Miles, Kallicharran, McHale, Precious, Kitching. Bolam-12th man.
