I THANK all the kind young people who helped me when I fell in Walmgate recently.
To the young woman who fortuitously had a sterile bandage I could use to stem the bleeding on my eye; the young men who gave comfort and support to me and my husband and called for an ambulance and stayed until they were sure I was all right; to the young paramedic who arrived very quickly and was very reassuring; to the young women in a nearby office who offered a chair and a glass of water; also the ambulance crew who arrived so quickly; and finally the caring staff at York A&E. Good Samaritans all.
Mrs M Gath,
York Road,
Cliffe, Selby.
