PARLIAMENT'S recent decision just about summed up this Labour Government's sorry administration of the United Kingdom.

While public services are in disarray, pensions have been destroyed, and we are paying more in stealth taxes and National Insurance, the Government has obviously got its priorities right - foxhunting will be banned in England and Wales and gays will be able to marry!

It is clear from these policies that the old Left must still hold sway in the Labour Party however much Mr Blair may think not.

The foxhunting ban is a vendetta by the Labour Party against the people they perceive as carrying out the sport. I do not take part but, living in the country, I see it as part of the rural way of life and its economy.

Most MPs who voted for the Bill have little, if no, knowledge of the rural way of life and (like the Government itself) take very little interest in it except for the foxhunting issue.

I note that John Grogan MP voted for the Bill. He should remember he represents a rural constituency but, as with most of Mr Grogan's motives, they seldom have the best interests of his constituents at heart.
