THE York City Supporters' Trust is backing the football club's board in their opposition to the local authority's phased redevelopment plans for Huntington Stadium.
Speaking after last night's emergency meeting involving the two City bodies, Trust chairman Richard Snowball said: "The Trust board remains fully supportive of the professional way in which the club board have progressed matters in relation to the redevelopment of the Monks Cross Stadium site.
"We hope that City of York Council can match some of its previous supportive words with positive actions to help ensure the continuation of the city and county's only Football League club."
