FLOWERS in all the colours of the rainbow will soon be on display at Escrick Flower Festival.
The festival, to raise funds for St Leonard's Hospice, will show a wide range of styles and ideas inspired by the title Over The Rainbow.
Displays will include floral interpretations of countries such as Italy, South Africa, France, Spain and New Zealand.
Judith Wilson, community fundraiser at St Leonard's Hospice, said: "Escrick's Flower Festival promises to be a feast of colour and innovative design, and will certainly be worth a visit."
Admission is £2 and St Helen's Church will receive ten per cent of the profits.
Festival opening hours are 10am to 6pm tomorrow, 1pm to 6pm on Sunday and 10am to 4pm on Monday.
There will be a preview evening tonight, priced £5, which will include music and refreshments. For tickets call 01904 728187 or 728200.
A choral evensong led by the Selebian Singers will take place on Sunday evening.
