A SPECIAL event is being held to help people and bodies seeking to revive the fortunes of North Yorkshire's market towns to pick their way through the "funding maze".
The biggest problem facing any local authority, company or individual trying to cash in on regeneration is often how to tap into the many different sources of funding now on offer.
Help and advice is available from the experts, at a special seminar organised by North Yorkshire County Council through the national small towns network, Action for Market Towns.
During the event, which starts at 10am at The Angel Inn, Topcliffe, Thirsk, on Wednesday, the expert advice will:
Provide up-to-date information about the rapid changes in funding sources
Detail how to access new and existing funding streams
Offer practical sessions from people who are willing to share their experiences of how it is done
To reserve a place at the seminar, phone Steve Leatherbarrow, economic development officer, on 01609 532223, by Monday..
