WOODHOUSE Grange bowler Ashley King was left cursing his batsmen after watching his sensational ten-wicket return go to waste against Wheldrake in division five of the Howarth Pulleyn Hesleton York Vale League.
The Wheldrake innings simply found King in unplayable form as he racked up club-best figures of 10-37 in 17 overs in their score of 102.
However, Grange failed to build on King's bowling exploits as Callum Dent replied with 4-9 to skittle them for 65.

Wistow held their nerve at Clifton Alliance after Bill Roddham (6-6) restricted them to 81 all out. Clifton were cruising along at 70-4 until Ian Jennings took up the task and bowled Wistow to victory as the last six wickets fell for five runs.
Stillingfleet got the better of Woodhouse Grange, despite Paul Townsley returning 7-77 in 'Fleet's 163-8. Dave Rowsby again scoring 50.
