York-based White Rose Triathletes are offering youngsters the chance to take part in the Childline Children's Triathlon in Harrogate, on Sunday, August 6.
The event is open to boys and girls, aged eight to 16, and will take place at the Army Foundation College, Pennypot Lane, Harrogate.
There will be separate races over different distances for all five age categories.
There is a £7 entry free, with each finisher receiving a memento, and there are also prizes for the top-three boys and girls in each age group.
Children can also try out the sport for the first time over a shortened course, just by paying £2 to the Childline Charity.
If you would like to have a go at being a triathlete you can contact: Childline Triathlon, 49 Jute Road, Acomb, York, YO23 5ES.
