A CAR is the star prize in a bumper raffle which aims to raise stacks of cash for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
Televison's David Dickinson will draw the winning ticket at the Beverley County Show on August 31. The lucky winner will receive a three-door Ford Ka 1.3 - supplied by CD Bramall - including the registration fee and road tax for 12 months. Cash prizes are also up for grabs.
John Sutherland, the director of fundraising for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, said: "This is our major raffle of the year and we hope that the star prize of a car will encourage people to buy tickets and show their support for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance at the same time."
Anyone interested in buying or selling tickets, which cost £1 each, should contact the Yorkshire Air Ambulance charity office on 0845 120 6060.
