TALENTED North Yorkshire youngsters were rewarded for their design skills by North Yorkshire County Council.
The children were winners in a competition to design a T-shirt depicting what they loved about walking.
The five youngsters were Adam Hartnett, from Ripon, Megan Sibson, from Knaresborough, Bethany Hindle, from Selby, Samantha Hayhurst, from Skipton, and Gayle Smith, from Thirsk.
They travelled to county hall and were presented with the finished creations by outgoing chairman Coun David Ashton.
"It was wonderful to meet these delightful children," said Councillor Ashton, "and interesting to hear how they themselves will often prefer to walk rather than go by car."
