MURRAY Walker is the voice of motor-sport around the world and a national broadcasting institution, so his autobiography should naturally make for an interesting read.
Aside from his thoughts and memories following over 50 years of unrivalled access to the greatest personalities and teams at all levels of the sport, there are also fascinating insights into Walker's life as a tank commander in the Second World War, his highly successful advertising career and being the son of a motorcycling legend.
This paperback edition also includes a new chapter on Walker's thoughts about the 2002 season - his first away from the commentary box.
Echoing the informative and entertaining "trousers on fire" style that his fans know and love, the book is incredibly readable from start to finish.
It is impossible not to warm to the man who admits to being as awe-struck and humbled by his success and surroundings as the rest of us would be.
