HAXBY cyclist Mark Wolstenholme has produced two personal best times in the past two weeks.
The Pete Read Racing cyclist firstly timed 52mins 24secs in the 25-mile time trial promoted by VC Chesterfield at Ranby on the A1, taking nearly two minutes off his previous best. Matthew Bottrill (Race Scene) won in 49-03.
He then clocked 1hr 48mins 17secs in the North Midlands 50-mile time trial at Ranby, taking one minute off his best, to finish an impressive fifth overall.
Team-mate Joel Wainman won in 1-46-10 to help Pete Read Racing claim the team prize, with Simon Baldwin timing 1-49-09 to be their third rider home.
In-form Wolstenholme has now picked up personal bests over 25, 50 and 100 miles in the last 27 days. He will look to continue that form in the National 100-mile Championships at Eastwall near Derby on Sunday.
