New Earswick All Blacks Under-10s put up a great show to finish as runners-up at the Shaw Cross seven-a-side gala in Dewsbury.
The York side took only the bare minimum of seven players due to late withdrawals so had no substitutes, yet they still won every game on their way to the final where they met a strong Lock Lane side.
They were reduced to six players when Joe Davidson picked up a second-half injury which allowed Lock Lane to take control but All Blacks managed to run in tries through James Leaf and Lewis Pool.
All Blacks had had the highest try total up to the final, with backs Dean Layton, Davidson, Adam Johnson and Pool and hooker Leaf crossing.
