SPORTS stars from across the North will be coming to Hambleton this summer.
A packed programme of activities has been organised for the summer holidays, including visits from Leeds United, Sunderland and Middlesborough football clubs, and Yorkshire County Cricket Club.
Leeds United will be running a football coaching course in Thirsk, with Sunderland and Middlesborough visiting Northallerton.
The town will also be graced by Yorkshire Cricket Club with a three-day coaching course, and the first ever visit from Middlesbrough Mowhawks basketball team.
The Hyper Holidays programme will begin on July 21, and will also feature pop, dancing and arts courses as well as a wide range of sports, organised by Hambleton Leisure.
Thirsk Swimming Pool has joined forces with The World of James Herriot to run arts-based activities at the Herriot Centre.
