Bubwith's Anna Airaksinen and junior Kirsty Godwin were unbeaten in a 58-50 victory over Civil Service in division one of the Fulford Ladies Tennis Invitation League.
Wendy Cook and Jackie Ritchie top scored for Civil Service.
York chalked up their tenth successive win of the campaign by thrashing struggling Bishopthorpe 81-27.
Tadcaster eased the pressure near the bottom by defeating Dunnington 64-44 with Lorraine Peary and Sheila Stuart winning 10-2 7-5 10-2 to be the only unbeaten pairing.
Cawood went top of division three of by beating Poppleton and Dunnington.
The Dunnington match was a close affair in which Cawood had a slight advantage going in to the final round.
Dunnington's Margaret Jenkins and up-and-coming junior partner Katie Milne edged a 7-5 victory, while first string Linda Molloy and Di Wrigglesworth won by the same score. However, Shelagh Elcock and Sue Matchett also won 7-5 to give Cawood overall victory by two points.
Selby beat Wistow 58-50 with Debbie and Lucy Godwin amassing 27 games although it needed an 8-4 win by Janet Hare and Ruby Gourlay to clinch the match.
Despite winning all their rubbers and 26 games, Fulford's Anna Baker and Di Ekers ended up on the losing side against Poppleton.
Wheldrake and Castlegarth are pulling away in division two and are on course for a return to division one next season.
Pocklington beat Strensall 73-35 to ease their division four relegation worries, Rosanna Dane and Jenny Wood finishing in style with an 11-1 win to give them 26 games in the match.
Division five leaders Poppleton beat Bishopthorpe 59-49 with Lynn and Hazel Coop top scoring with 28 games.
Linda Irving and Jackie Gage and partners Margaret Hessay and Pam Mason both collected 25 games each with Sue Scott and Jennt Rowland supporting with 20 games as Fulford thumped Appleton Roebuck 70-38.
In division six, Madeline Hatfield and Pam Mason were unbeaten as Fulford defeated Copmanthorpe 71-37.
