YORK'S Joe Lumb XI beat their Doncaster counterparts by 50 runs at Tickhill.
Jack Bolam (Dunnington) top scored for York with 61 as they put together 188-8 in their 50 overs.
Openers Nathan Briggs (Hemingbrough) and Leon Sacks (Acomb) put on 33 for the first wicket before, in the 11th over, Sacks gifted mid-off a fairly simple catch. Ten overs later Briggs was on 33 when he was caught in the slips.
Bolam joined Duncan Snell (York) and they added 45 runs before Snell was bowled for 24.
Doncaster were competitive in the field, but Bolam went on to make 61. His half century came off 66 balls in 80 minutes.
With Mike Noble (Dunnington) available, York's opening attack was back to full strength and was backed up by some brilliant fielding.
Both Doncaster's openers were back in the pavilion by the fourth over. A seventh wicket partnership of 42 was ended by a stumping by George Routhwaite (Scarborough) off the bowling of Richard Allman (Acomb), who finished with 3-35.
Tom Pateman (Scarborough) was brought into the attack and he bowled a superb six-over spell, getting 1-6 as Doncaster's innings folded for 138 in the final over.
