Fulford Golf Club's James Duckett and former European Tour pro Nick Ludwell (Selby) have made it through to the final qualifier for the Open.
Both shot a 71 at Alwoodley yesterday with 22-year-old Duckett including an eagle three at the eighth.
Ludwell, needing a par at the last, drove into a fairway bunker, but produced a miraculous shot from the sand to within feet of the hole and conjured up a birdie.
The Open is being held at Royal St George's, Sandwich, and starts on Thursday, July 17.
