LEE Jackson and Scott Rhodes were the big movers in the Evening Press/Collier Plant Hire player-of-the-year rankings over the past fortnight.
Rhodes claimed three points from his man-of-the-match performance at Workington two weeks ago, while Jackson similarly claimed a treble in the game at Chorley last Sunday.
The latter goes clear in fourth place, just four points behind leader Trevor Krause as the race for the player-of-the-year crown hots up, while Rhodes is just two points further back.
Stand-off Rhodes remains one point behind Danny Brough after the scrum-half picked up two points at Workington, a game which saw the half-back pairing in top form.
Ever-consistent prop Rich Hayes claimed another point at Town to go clear in second.
The remaining points at the Chorley game went to Rob Kama, who showed promise in an assured and pacy full debut for the club, and the man he replaced on the wing, Alex Godfrey, who had a good game at full-back in place of the injured Chris Smith.
Player-of-the-year standings: Krause 15pts, Hayes 13, Smith 12, Jackson 11, Broadbent 8, Brough 10, Rhodes 9, Cain 7, Fletcher 6, Hallas 6, Law 6, Godfrey 4, Ramsden 4, Thaler 3, Callaghan 3, Lloyd 3, Beever 3, Kama 2, Bolus 1.
