Acomb CC enjoyed an overwhelming victory in a Myers and Burnell Cup quarter final at Clifton Park.
The margin was 50 runs and Sri Lankan star Sanjay Rodrigo was the key player with 79 runs in Acomb's total of 147-3.
He then took 5-19 with only Aussie Luke Wells with 44 showing any real form in Clifton's reply of 97 all out.
In a rescheduled draw, Acomb now play in their semi-final at Clifton Park on August 21. Their opponents will be Dringhouses or Osbaldwick who play off on July 14.
This coming Monday the other half of the draw sees Pocklington meet Woodhouse Grange at Clifton Park in a semi-final. The final is on August 3.
