The injury-ravaged, big-serving Australian, Mark Philippoussis plays Sebastien Grosjean, who vanquished Tim Henman yesterday, in the first of the men's semi-final at Wimbledon today.
Philippoussis has suffered a string of serious knee injuries, and says his long recovery after surgery on the knee has left him hungry for success.
Grosjean easily dispensed with Henman yesterday afternoon, in a rain-delayed match, and may be looking to take advantage of his opponent's weariness- Phillippoussis has needed all five sets to win his last two games.
In the other men's semi-final, tournament favourite Andy Roddick will play the number 4 seed Roger Federer, of Switzerland.
Both matches will be played on centre court, with the Phillippoussis-Grosjean match starting at midday.
Mr and Mrs Williams are certain to be the parents of this year's ladies' champion, after their daughters Serena and Venus both won their semi-final matches yesterday.
They will play the final tomorrow, with the men's final contested on Sunday, the final day of competition at SW19.
