A YORK photographer has received a major accolade from experts within his profession.
Ian Taylor, who specialises in portraits and weddings and has trained with Huntington-based Bailey-Cooper Photography, has been awarded a Licentiate qualification from the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP).
At a meeting of the UK's professional photographic qualifying board, a selection of Ian's work was unanimously approved by the judges - and was nominated for the Best Licentiate Panel Award 2003.
Ian said: "I am absolutely thrilled to have my work recognised in this way. The BIPP sets the standards for professional photography throughout the UK so top receive its seal of approval is very rewarding."
Paul Cooper, senior partner at Bailey-Cooper Photography, said: "Ian really deserves this award and to be nominated for the Best Licentiate award of the year is a significant achievement for any professional photographer."
