NORTH Yorkshire's secret gardens are to be opened to raise money for charity.
Visitors to Thornton-le-Dale this weekend are invited to discover six gardens.
It is the 17th time the village has opened up its gardens to raise money for the NSPCC.
Three of the gardens on display will be open to the public for the first time.
The event will begin at 2pm and the gardens will close at 6pm. Maps will be available for £2.50 from the footbridge in the village car park.
Other attractions will include homemade teas and a plant stall.
