Hornsea retained the leadership of Hunters the estate agent York and District Senior League division two by gaining the better of a draw at Malton.
Ahmed Nadeem made a seasonal best 74 as the Coasters took first innings and, with Guy Martinson making 49 and Paul Johnson 35, full batting points were gained at 216-5.
Malton's reply rested firmly with the Johnson brothers, with Greg making 56 and Neil 55, but Jonathan Lewis held sway with four for 54 to hold the home side to 176-7.
Former leaders Dringhouses moved back to within three points of the pace-setters when they ran out five-wicket victors over Scarborough at North Marine Road.
Philip Seed added 37 to his century of the previous week, while Andy Welford made 44, but Alistair Darnell took 4-50 and Dave Todd 3-50 and the Seasiders all out for 164.
Ryan Swiers then strived manfully to reclaim command as he took 4-80 but, after 28 from Kevin McGuinness, Mark Fenton played the decisive innings as he reached 73 not out.
Rowntree skipper Paul Horner produced match-winning 7-71 at Stillington in a match which saw both sides searching for their first win.
Wayne Linton top scored with 35 and Chris Manson made 26, while Matt Coulson celebrated his return to the Stillington fold after a brief sojourn at Dunnington by making 30.
But Horner had handy supprt from Dave Whittle, whose 3-35 helped knock over the hosts for 145.
When Rowntree replied, Gerry Capelin made his seasonal best of 62 and Richard Tuite added 49 to help their side gain their first win by seven wickets.
