Sheriff Hutton Bridge won the top of the table clash with Hull Zingari in division one of Hunters the Estate Agent York and District Senior League despite being required to bat first.
Their 30-point reward sees them lead the division by 32 points.
Steve Crowder made 35 and Paul Scaling 31 in the upper order before Dave Gilbertson hit a career best 83 after surviving a chance before he had got off the mark.
Andy Hamson took 3-65 in 16 overs, but the Bridge were able to build a score of 233-7.
Hull Zingari's batsmen mounted a serious challenge through Robert Elston (56) and Anthony Knowles (26), but then submitted to the teenage wizardry of spinner Danny Snowball, who gave himself an 18th birthday present by taking 6-61 on the eve of his big day to leave Zingari all out for 174.
A nail-biting finish at Crayke saw last man Steve Warriner hit the winning boundary to gain his side a one-wicket win at the expense of Driffield.
Mark Tennant hit 66 for Driffield, who were bowled out for 172 by Mark Hutchinson, with 3-46, and Richard Wentworth, who took 4-32.
Paul Hutchinson put Crayke in command with 65, but Simon Stable produced his best York league figures of 7-44 to reduce Crayke to 160-9.
Andrew Dawson (38 not out) was then joined by last-man Warriner, who scored 14 of the required 15 runs and finished the game in dramatic fashion with a boundary.
A fourth-wicket stand of 88 between Dan O'Connor (61) and Peter Kent (55) appeared to have set up a familiar late onslaught by the Duncombe Park batsmen when Goole Town visited Baxton's Lane.
The anticipated run feast did not materialise as Park added only 24 runs in the final ten overs while losing seven wickets as teenager Richard Mann took 4-51.
With Dave England taking two for 53 in a 24-over spell, Park slipped from 162-3 to 186 foe nine.
However, this was too high a target for Goole, who struggled against brothers Paul and Mark Wilkie, the former taking three for 13 as he sent down ten maidens in a 14-over stint, and the latter taking three for 32. Anthony Gibbins made 32 and Gautam Sharma 26 as Goole drew at 128-8.
York hit yet another impressive total when they set Pocklington a target of 254-6.
Pocklington, for their part, also batted well to reach their full quota of bonus points and a meritable draw at 200-6.
York's Nash Stone pulled further ahead in the race to 1,000 runs when he made 54 to move to a seasonal total of 732 runs. He was outshone on the day by Dave Catlow who fell six runs short of a century, while Andy Kay weighed in with 47.
The reliable Mal Harrison was the pick of Pock's bowlers with 5-43 off 11 overs. Nineteen-year-old Richard Carroll hit back with 4-34, but Pocklington had little difficulty in making the draw due to Ian Camwell's 74 and an unbeaten 62 from Neil Jackson.
