WHEN Yorwaste recycling manager John Miller was quoted as saying, "unfortunately metal bins aren't as attractive as the new plastic ones" ('Arsonists recycle bins into heaps of melted plastic', June 25) he forgot to insert "to arsonists" immediately after the word "attractive".
Anyone who had undertaken a risk assessment of this would have spotted immediately the problem of storing a great volume of combustible material in a plastic container in a public place.
