YET another anti-feminist rant from Heather Causnett (Letters, June 20)!
I know I shouldn't rise to the bait, but to describe the movement for women's equality as "the greatest evil of our time" is just bonkers.
Why on earth shouldn't women seek to become "philosophers, writers, composers, doctors, architects, scientists, navigators"?
Contrary to Heather's assertion that women have been active in all these fields and more since the dawn of human history, otherwise our world would be much the poorer. I have never found feminism "emasculating". Self-confident men have nothing to fear from self-confident women, or their just demands for equal rights.
