North Yorkshire's swing king Simon Dyson was well-placed to make the cut for the final two rounds at the French Open.
The Malton and Norton GC ace was two-under and tied-31st with seven holes of his second round at Le Golf National in Paris, two shots clear of the early projected cut.
Dyson's scored owed largely to his top finish in the first round, as he birdied the 17th and eagled the 18th.
However, he remained four shots behind the early leading quartet of Thomas Bjorn, amateur Eric Chaudouet, Nicholas Colsaerts and Philip Golding.
